Senior CSM

After completing a BSc in Electronic Imaging & Media Communications at The University of Bradford, Ellen started her career in telematics, traveling the world, opening regional offices and training engineering staff on new systems. Whilst heading up a UK technical department Ellen met her husband and started a family. Managing apprentices for a few years whilst the children grew, Ellen joined SmartDrive in 2017.

What do you do at SmartDrive?
Work with the EMEA customer base to ensure they are gaining optimum benefit from our programme, to cut collisions, protect their drivers and reduce costs in their fleets.

Describe your job in 3 words:
Listen, Communicate, Inform.

What is something fleet owners have to deal with that you want to fix?
Distracted driving.

What are your credentials/past experience, for working in your position?
12 years in the telematics industry, and practical technical IT experience.

What do you like about working at SmartDrive?
I love being home based, working with the customers individually, at their pace.

Revenge (TV), Killing Eve (TV), Limitless (film) Lucifer (TV) , Autobiographies (any).

Tell us something we don’t know about you:
I have been told I look like Meryl Streep since I was 12 years old. This gets worse when she is on the TV as people look twice at me the following day!

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?
Being with my family. My husband, who also works in telematics and my 2 children.
